Jake Gaskell

An Urbandale, Iowa-based financial advisor with nearly 20 years of experience, Jake Gaskell spent 12 years at Wells Fargo Advisors. In January 2024, Jake Gaskell joined the RBC Wealth Management office in Clive as a first vice president.

Jake Gaskell graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor of arts in history and began his aviation career. After completing flight school at the Spartan School of Aeronautics, he worked briefly as a second-in-command trainer with Flight Safety International, where he helped train foreign crews on the Falcon 50 and 900 series. Jake Gaskell earned an Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation in 2005 and began working as an advisor with AG Edwards.

After two years at AG Edwards, Jake Gaskell joined UBS Financial Services. He spent five years with the Des Moines firm in a wealth management capacity, helping individuals achieve their financial goals by providing investment planning and risk management services.

When he isn't advising clients, Jake Gaskell spends his free time outdoors, fly fishing, hiking, and camping. He also supports nonprofit organizations, including the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation.
